All lessons6 minutes · Record keeping

Match several identifiers

A useful reconciliation record can include the platform entry, provider reference, transaction ID, asset, network, gross amount, fee, net amount, status, and timestamps.

Preserve corrections

Do not erase a reversed or corrected transaction from personal records. Retain the original and the correcting entry so the history explains the final balance.
