Emergency reference kit

Fixed wallet-free guidance for stopping suspicious activity, regaining control through official channels, and preserving useful reporting details.

General reference only

This page is not emergency, recovery, legal, law-enforcement, or individualized security assistance. Never enter a password, authentication code, recovery phrase, or private key into CoinPork.

Wallet or recovery phrase exposed

Use a clean device and independently verified wallet guidance. Assume exposed recovery material can no longer safely control assets.

  1. Stop: Stop entering information or signing requests on the suspected device or site.
  2. Stabilize: From a trusted device, verify the wallet provider's official incident guidance.
  3. Preserve: Record approximate discovery time and the actions you observed.

Exchange or service account takeover

Regain control through a separately opened official channel and protect the email and authentication methods connected to the account.

  1. Stop: Do not use links, phone numbers, or recovery forms supplied by the suspected attacker.
  2. Stabilize: Open the provider independently and start its official account-compromise flow.
  3. Preserve: Record rejected and successful login times shown by the official provider.

Accidental or wrong-network transfer

Cryptocurrency transfers are often irreversible. Avoid anyone promising guaranteed retrieval or asking for another transfer.

  1. Stop: Do not send a second payment to 'unlock,' reverse, validate, or recover the first.
  2. Stabilize: Verify the transaction on the appropriate official network explorer.
  3. Preserve: Keep the transaction hash, timestamp, asset amount, network, and public addresses.

Suspicious token approval or signature

Stop additional signing, verify the authority granted, and use only independently verified revocation guidance.

  1. Stop: Stop interacting with the application or links involved.
  2. Stabilize: Identify the exact network, account, token, spender, amount, and authorization type.
  3. Preserve: Record transaction hashes, contract and spender addresses, timestamps, and displayed request text.

Fake support or impersonation contact

Break contact-channel control. A logo, caller ID, verified-looking profile, or case number does not establish identity.

  1. Stop: End the call, chat, screen share, or remote-access session.
  2. Stabilize: Open the provider's official application or type its known address independently.
  3. Preserve: Save communication handles, phone numbers, domains, timestamps, and message text.

Sponsored offer did not credit

Treat this as a documentation and support issue. Never fabricate completion or expose unrelated personal information.

  1. Stop: Do not repeat a purchase or task solely to force tracking unless the provider instructs you through its official case.
  2. Stabilize: Check the stated tracking window, exclusions, hold period, and eligibility terms.
  3. Preserve: Keep offer title, completion time, disclosed requirements, and internal reference.

Recovery service asks for money

A second scam often follows an initial loss. No outside party can guarantee recovery, especially for an upfront crypto payment.

  1. Stop: Stop payment and contact with the recovery solicitor.
  2. Stabilize: Contact involved providers using official channels.
  3. Preserve: Save the recovery firm's claimed name, domains, advertisements, handles, and payment addresses.
